1.  Are the doors you sell high-quality?

Yes!  We sell trusted brands such as Jeld-Wen, Masonite, Therma-Tru, Simpson, and IMP.  All of our wood doors have engineered stiles and rails to resist warping.  Most of our wood doors have veneered panels to virtually eliminate any chance of splitting.  We inspect every door before it is shipped to ensure your complete satisfaction. 

2.  Do you offer other door styles or sizes that aren't shown on your Website?

We carry many more door styles that aren't shown on our Website.  We chose to include only the most popular doors here.  Call us or e-mail us a description of the door you are looking for.  We also have custom capabilites for odd-sized doors.

3.  How do you ship your doors?

We ship doors via LTL Freight.  Your doors will be carefully packaged in a wooden crate and guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition.  You will be given tracking information so that you can make arrangements to receive your door(s).  For residential deliveries, you will receive a call from the freight carrier to schedule the date and time of delivery. 

4.  Can I order doors pre-hung (in a frame)?

Yes, all of the doors we sell have the option to order as a pre-hung door.  Select this option before adding the door to your shopping cart.  You will have the option of paint-grade fingerjoint pine jambs or a jamb that matches the wood species of your door.  Fir pre-hung doors will have clear solid pine jambs.  For shipping purposes, all pre-hung doors will be shipped unassembled.  You or your installer will need to re-assemble the door frame, usually accomplished within 10-15 minutes.

5.  Are your doors pre-finished?

No, all of our doors are either raw wood or primed white (see description of doors).

6.  How do you determine the handing of a door?

IMPORTANT!!   We do not use the Butt-to-Butt method.  Many manufacturers, contractors, and door shops call their handings differently!  We try to keep it simple.  When you are standing on the side of the door that would swing toward you (often inside the room), the handing is determined by the location of the hinges.  If the hinges are on the left and the door swings toward you, it is a Left-Hand door.  There is a door illustration on every product page for your convenience.

7.  What type of warranty do you offer?

Generally, for fiberglass doors we offer 25 years.  Steel doors are 15 years.  Most wood doors are 1 year.  See our warranty page for more information.

8.  How long will it take to receive my order?

Steel, Fiberglass, pine, alder, and oak doors generally ship within 1 week.  Wood doors generally ship within 2 weeks.  For shipping, add 2-3 days (west coast), 3-4 days (east coast), 5-7 days (Canada).
